In 2000, The Hayden Orpheum underwent a complete refurbishment and the original auditorium was restored to it’s beautiful original 1930’s Art Deco splendor, as well as additional screens being added on.
Specialty Cinema supplied and installed the cinema screens, screen frames and masking systems, projection ports, acoustic panels and house( stage) curtains and curtain tracks and motors.
To this day The Hayden Orpheum is still considered one of the best Art Deco cinemas remaining in Australia today and is a treasured icon.
